Our first Big Flock Yarn Festival, went REALLY WELL, here in Bristol, England, May 2025!

We are now busy planning for The Big Flock 2026! The line up is amazing!

LARGE ORDERS: Please contact us for any non-UK orders over 2kg, as they require an alternative to Royal Mail parcel shipping.

PACKING AND PROCESSING: Most orders are processed and packed within 2 days. Any orders placed after 10am Thursday will not be processed and packed until Mondays.

EU deliveries below 150€ now without additional fees!

WE ARE REGISTERED FOR IOSS.

We ship to customers in EU countries. All orders shipped to countries within the European Union (EU) will have taxes and duties paid at checkout. This means that the price you see for the item(s) in your cart is the final price you'll pay, and there will be no additional fees or charges upon delivery. We strive to make the checkout process as seamless as possible, so you can enjoy your purchase without any surprises or delays.

We are GPSR compliant and continue selling to the EU.

WORLDWIDE

Everything sold to customers outside of the UK and EU is sold with taxes ‘delivered at place.’ This means customers will be due to pay duties / taxes in their own country. Please note that we cannot be responsible for charges incurred on goods entering countries outside of the UK.

For all non-UK customers, please do check what the import value limits are, and whether you are likely to be charged VAT on your order, when it goes through customs in your country.

All about us

We are Clare and Jon; we spend our time dyeing yarn, making bags and accessories and playing Pop Master.

Parents of two grown-up sons, until 2022, we shared our home with Stella, our mad border collie, who's famous on Instagram as #stellabird52 - we miss her so much x

Jon loves photography and also works as freelance photographer. He also enjoys being a part of the Bristol Empire Dragons Club, for Dragon Boat Racing!

Clare loves to knit and spin, spend time with her knitting buddies and enjoys making clothes. You can see some of the beautiful dresses she has made, on her Instagram feed.

As hosts of Flock South West Yarnies, and now The Big Flock, we set up the local gathering for lovers of all things yarn, across South West England, in 2019. We love meeting up with so many amazing makers and have made some great friendships!

We enjoy every opportunity to meet up with other makers; do follow our newsletter to find out about any festivals and yarn events we are going to.

We've been lucky enough to collaborate with talented designers and seeing our yarn as a part of stunning new designs.
