Birdstreet Yarn Advent 2024: PRE-ORDER
Christmas Re-imagined
This year’s Birdstreet Yarn Advent is based around the 4 Sundays of Advent and their themes of Hope, Peace, Joy and Love.
Being quite a change from previous years, there will be 5 packages within the advent box; 1 for each Sunday of Advent and one for Christmas Day itself. This follows our Re-imagined Yarn Club, running for 6 months, throughout 2024.
Week 1: Hope will have 1x100g 4ply variegated colourway, on our Merino 75 base (Superwash Merino / Nylon 75/25%)
Week 2: Peace will be 5x20g 4ply minis, ‘re-imagining’ the Hope colourway, as 5 tonals.
Week 3: Joy will have 1x100g 4ply variegated colourway.
Week 4: Love will be 5x20g 4ply minis, ‘re-imagining’ the Joy colourway, as 5 tonals.
Christmas Day will have 1x luxury 4ply skein of baby grey alpaca, silk, cashmere.
That’s a total of 500g of beautiful yarn!
All these colourways will complement each other really well, with clues to the colour palette in our imagery, as we look to ‘re-imagine’ Christmas.

Full Pre-order cost is £120.
There is also an option to pay in instalments:
£20 deposit (Inc vat) + shipping costs, followed by 4 monthly payments of £25 (Inc vat).
If you choose the instalment option, payment for the first instalment will need to be paid. This will include the shipping cost.
The other instalments will be due in the first week of the month; May, June, July and August. You will receive a reminder email, with a link, to enable payment.
When ordering, please do not include any other items to your order.
Hand dyed yarn
4ply: each 20g mini 85m, each 100g skein 425m
both are 75% super-wash Merino, 25% Nylon
Alpaca / Silk Cashmere 100g skein, 400m,
70% Baby Grey Alpaca, 20% Silk, 10% Cashmere
These Advents are for PRE-ORDER and will be dyed to order, ready to send out in early November.
Hand-dyed using professional acid dyes; no two skeins are completely identical due to the nature of this process, though they are dyed in batches.
Every attempt has been made to wash any residual dye from the yarn, however a little may remain; especially with dark or vivid colours, so I recommend to hand wash separately. Reshape made products whilst damp and dry flat.
All our advent yarn is hand-washed with moisturising, dermatologically-tested hand wash.
Colours may vary between viewing monitors; every effort has been made to represent a true reflection of the yarn.
